Hands down the best place for chicken around. The food never disappoints. The staff is AWALYS friendly. I'm from the north where you can only get KFc. Whenever we have family or friends visiting we get Smithfield's. They are always impressed. Keep doing what you're doing!

I edited my review when I realized, I am sitting in the parking lot eating my to go order. Ordered a shrimp snack. Potatoe salad on the side.I thought I was making a quick stop. I took a bite and had my lunch break here, as a result of the food. Definitely surprised me. This wasn't the generic seafood chain experience. Good stuff... Friendly staff, good food, efficient service today.

Food is great. Also a good value for the money. Service is awesome.

Wife, son, and I can each get two meals out of the tailgate pack - well worth the price. Food quality is quite good, consistently so from store to store. Happy dad here....

Excellent customer service today. My first visit to this store. Visited around 3:15 pm on 1/15/2019. They were short staffed but they rocked getting everyone attended to and orders out in a timely manner. They were friendly and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Many facilities would have been ill because the lack of staff but not this team. Even at the drive thru a lady changed her order 3 times and the young girl never made one ugly comment. She was always pleasant and thanked the customer for coming. This team rocked it today. Great team work. Will definitely go out of my way to visit this location again. Thank you! P.S. Food was delicious as well. 😁

I was just there and was refused service inside because I wasn't wearing a mask. I was told that because I can't wear a mask that I would have to wait in the drive thru line if I was to be served. THIS IS DISCRIMINATION

Always cooked to perfection and piled high! Wonderful sides; best slaw I've ever eaten. Their Brunswick stew is the best in the area. Great service!

Amazing customer service! This was my first time here, and the staff was so friendly and patient with explaining the menu. When we got our food, the employees were consistent with coming up to our table and making sure our drinks were full and that everything was good. Southern hospitality at its finest! Will for sure be returning the next time I am in town.

Chicken.was under cooked and the fries were over cooked. Not pleased with the experience or the food.

Customer service was good & so was the food. It was cold enough inside to hang meat.

WAY OVER PRICED!!!! 2 barbeque sandwiches 2 fries and 2 drinks 16$ for just 2 "value" packs. Outrageous, the food is good but not that good! Not to mention staff here needs some basic training on customer service.

Smithfield bbq is amazing.

This place is pretty great BUT I went there tonight really wanting some BBQ and they told me they were out......they are literally a BBQ PLACE. They are out of pretty much the one thing they sell. Was not happy or impressed. Would of rated 5 but this place obviously needs better management. So only 3.

This one at 7911 Fayetteville Rd by my house is the best I have ever been in. Professionally managed for sure and the employees show it. The cooks have the grease temp down to a science and never deviate from it, which we all know is the key to perfect fried chicken.

Got the chicken tenders plate and it was delicious. Very well cooked chicken, juicy and tender. Staff was very nice and can't wait to go back.

Probably one of the better places to get pulled pork in the area. The Brunswick stew is a little on the thick and sweet side but still ok. Haven't tried the chicken yet.

Good food, nice people. Their fries are good but get cold quick when I'm in the car.

End of an era. Prices rising (drinks now almost $2.50), service declining, and the new management posted signs on every register that they now charge $0.50 for each tiny cup of sauce if one is not enough (and they make a big production of auditing your receipt and writing down how many sauces you are entitled to based on your order). You've lost a long-time weekly customer with these petty antics. Good thing there are so many better alternatives nearby.

Didn't know what to expect, but my grandson helped me choose. I was so happy he did! LOVED my lunch!

Had a great experience here today. Love the fact we walked in and they where cleaning so nice for a place to take time to clean thoroughly. I going to not spell this wonder ladies name right but Akila was great. Made me feel at home was so nice, smiles, and interacting with my family checking to make sure we where good. Amazing service. I can’t say enough about her. I was here for thirty minutes. Came in after a long day but leaving with a smile just because of good people in this world. Thanks Akila hope you have a wonderful day!

One of my favorite places for North Carolina BBQ. I usually get the sandwich value meal. The fried chicken is also really good. They also usually have buy 1 Brunswick stew and get once for $1. I don't drink sweet tea! 😲 but my family loves it.

I was SCREAMED at for not having a mask on and then cussed out when I told them I couldn't due a DISABILITY. I was refused service until I turned on my CAMERA and suddenly I was SERVED after the CAMERA was on.

Had the best service I have had anywhere in a long time. The entire staff at the front was super friendly and welcoming. I will stop in again!

Great chicken, good fries and beans and a huge cup of sweet tea

Smithfield's is an OK place. I like it but today they could not get it together. They gave me the wrong sandwich and it took 10 minutes to get the right one. This is a long time to wait for something as simple as a regular menu item. To their credit, when they brought me the sandwich I had ordered they included some fresh fries and a piece of pecan pie. They usually have someone go around to refill your drink but not today. Not sure if they are slipping or things have changed. Their chicken sandwich is delicious so I will give them another chance.
